Government is aiming to create an e-commerce website to promote merchandise from the MSME and Khadi sector. Last week the Union Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari had stated that this is being executed with the intention to expand the contribution of these sectors to the Indian economic system as micro, small and medium businesses contribute to 29% of the country’s GDP.
